Zorzal
This week we present a different type of music. Zorzal is a son huasteco trio (mexican folklore music) from the northeast region of Mexico called Huasteca. The so called Son Huasteco or Huapango, is warm and joyful music, played and sang by the three huapangueros. With the lineup of a Jarana (5 string guitar), a Violin and a Guitarra Huapanguera (8 string guitar) the trio combines poetry, improvisation and dance into colorful songs. Zorzal has the ambition to build a bridge between the Mexican folklore music Son Huasteco and the music scene in Amsterdam.
